How To Create DEB ID

Dear Applicant,

As per the directions of the University Grants Commission ( by a learner who wishes to enrol in an ODL/Online Programme. Thus, for admission in ODL/Online Programmes offered by unique number, and you need to create it only once The process for creation of DEB ID is explained below:

For creating DEB ID, you need an ABC ID. Please visit :-

If you have not created your ABC ID so far, please for creation of ABC ID by clicking the icons in the box marked After creating your ABC ID, please submit it in the box create your DEB ID. Please provide A,B step guidelines above and follow the instructions to If you already have your ABC ID, you can go directly to box to create your DEB ID. Please keep your DEB ID ready at the time of filling up your online application for admission. The application shall be submitted only after validation of your DEB ID. Please provide the same email/mobile in your application that you have used for creating your DEB ID. In case you face any difficulty, please approach your nearest IGNOU Study Centre or Regional Centre for assistance.
